“Flexible Man” is a project from my Motion Graphics 2 class, where I embarked on a journey to push the boundaries of what could be achieved with motion graphics. Tasked with incorporating 2-4 visual effects into our videos, I leveraged the extensive toolkit of Red Giant VFX to create a mesmerizing narrative around a male figure. This figure undergoes a series of transformations, tangling and expanding beyond the confines of his original form.

APPROACH »

My approach was deeply experimental, aiming to blend the physical with the metaphysical. Starting with the core idea of transformation, I meticulously planned each sequence where the male figure would transition, ensuring a seamless flow that mirrored the fluidity and flexibility of the concept. Each effect, chosen from the vast array of options within Red Giant VFX, was applied to accentuate the surreal and transformative nature of the video, creating a visual narrative that was both captivating and thought-provoking.
